Hunterdon County Man Busted With Narcotics In QuickChek Parking Lot: Police

A 40-year-old Lebanon Borough resident was arrested on Friday, April 12 after he was discovered with narcotics in a QuickChek parking lot in Readington, police said.

At 3 a.m. police responded to a report of an aggressive driver traveling east on Route 22 near County Line Road and pulled over Michael Fittipaldi in a QuickChek parking lot, Readington police said.

While officers were speaking to Fittipaldi, they observed drug paraphernalia on the driver side floorboard and observed a bag of narcotics in his sweatshirt pocket, police said. 

Fittipaldi was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a prescription legend drug without a prescription and issued a motor vehicle summons for possession of CDS in a motor vehicle, police said.
